Well I guess it's time to get back to the daily grind. Atleast for a couple of days this week.
Over the holidays I was talking with one of my old co-workers about some of our funny experiences. He reminded me of a time a guy came in to get a map from us.
The guy that came in for the map is VERY demanding. If you are working on something else, he basically demands you drop what you are doing right then so that you can work on his project. My co-worker received the privilege of working with him on this specific day. The guy came in and demanded some help. My co-worker told him he was busy and wouldn't be able to help right then. The citizen said, "Look I pay my taxes so I deserve this help." (I pay taxes too, so I'm going to be driving some county vehicles wherever I please here soon.)
My co-worker reluctantly decided to help the guy. The guy started explaining what he needed so my co-worker pulled up an aerial photo. For those of you who are not familiar with aerial photos, think Google Earth. It's a photo taken from an airplane or satellite of the ground. When this guy saw the photo he asked, "Who drew this? I want to know who drew this. This was drawn wrong!" My co-worker, baffled by this man's ignorance, responded, "Um, no one drew it, it's a picture of the land." The guy responded, "No it's not. This is wrong. My fence line is about 10 feet over."
I hereby nominate this man for, Most Hard Headed Individual - 2008.

I'm pretty sure I used to work for that guy.
Geez, I hate when my dad stops taking his medication. Sorry about that.
Hard headed? How about just plain stupid?
That's pretty sad. I deal with people like him alllllllllll the time!
